Welcome!

The Cape Cod Technology Council -- CCTC for those who like to type fewer characters! -- is a nonprofit organization that 'promotes technology and business on the Cape, Islands, and SE Massachusetts.'

Well ok, but what does that actually mean? Who is CCTC?

We are hundreds of people who are interested in both creating and using technology in all of its many many forms, including IT and energy and telecom and business productivity and online tools and open source and education and entertainment and ... the list is virtually endless.

We are passionate about creating businesses in our region, too. Some of our businesses and employees are focused here, others are based here with clients and employees around the world. What we share is a drive to use all the tools at our disposal to create an economic climate that can sustain and thrive.

We believe in educating our next generation. One of the programs we provide, Jr Tech, delivers engaging science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) workshops and mentoring for kids in grades 5-12, as well as teacher and staff workshops.

We like to have fun too. I mean, what's the point of staggering through life and not enjoying it?

More than one key innovation has come about because someone wasn't afraid to play around with an idea, to doodle on a napkin, and to dream about something that others might laugh off as being silly or unrealistic. There's a joy in creating something where nothing was before. And there's enormous power in joining forces with like minds to make magic happen. CCTC is a place where we can connect and create our region's potential for greatness.

So welcome to our photo album -- and we hope to see you in these images in the future!
