H2O Community Stem Conference

October 14, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Sandwich, MA, October 5, 2017– The Blue Institute and the Sandwich Public Schools invite you to join us for STEM Talks on Water from 10am – 12pm. Between 12 – 3pm, visit exhibits of regional water related organizations, businesses, and education programs   Student groups will be selling beverages and snacks.

  • Deborah Szaro – EPA Region One Acting Administrator on “Career Paths & Stem Education”
  • Michael Sullivan – IBM Global Cognitive Solutions Leader on ”Watson, IoT & Water”
  • Yuki A. Honjo, PhD – Chief Operating Officer of McLane Research Labs on “Marine Research, Technology, and Entrepreneurship”

The BLUE INSTITUTE AT CAPE COD is located at the Harwich Cultural Center. The Blue Institute is a strategic consortium of dedicated partners including leading research universities, professional and trade organizations, industry, practitioners, land & marine farmers, and local communities working together to design and create a creative cross-disciplinary academic curriculum, research facility, blue tech incubator, and water testing labs that take advantage of the unique fresh and saltwater ecosystem at and surrounding Cape Cod.
