Position: Project Manager/ Writer & Research - In Oncology
Employment: Full time and Part time
Professional Resources Group (PRG) is a rapidly expanding leading national healthcare education, market research and consulting firm located south of Boston, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The firm was founded in 1979 and has assisted healthcare clients throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates should have 2+ years of successful researching and writing in the healthcare sector in Oncology and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment. Candidate must be strongly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Candidate must have 2+ years of successful experience with client contact. Strong skills in email and working on a networked computer system. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is required. Knowledge of the clinical aspects of Oncology is necessary.
Responsible for defining projects and working with PRG principals to finalize details.
Responsible for researching and writing educational programs, articles, monographs, training materials in all sectors of the healthcare field, including oncology.
Responsible for delegating, supervising and proofing research and writing assignments for larger projects.
Responsible for developing with PRG principals appropriate tracking systems for all projects and materials associated with the project, scheduling for the projects and keeping the projects on schedule.
Responsible to research and keep current with latest updates for PRG programs and services.
Assigns tasks and supervises independent contractors working with specific program development.
Must be team-oriented, able to multi-task, be detailed oriented, have strong organizational and problem solving skills.
Job Skills:
If candidate has any of the following skills, work experience, or education this would be desirable but not required:
* Nursing background - or other clinical background.
* MS Access, knowledge of MS Project, HTML, ASP, XML, SQL, Java.
* Experience with graphic design, web programming and design, video production.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash.
