An Advantageous, Affordable Option Following Closing of CompUSA Centers

As many of you already are aware, CompUSA has, according to news reports, engaged with Gordon Brothers to sell all assets in the United States.  This appears to conclude the closing of all CompUSA retail and training facilities here in Massachusetts and elsewhere.
Since my departure from CompUSA, I continue to provide the high quality, effective, technology training and related services that my clients received during my tenure with that organization.
Clients enjoy significant advantages by not having to use a "broker" or one of the large training providers.
Contact me by e-mail for requests for further information on available delivery dates, times, locations, etc. if your questions are not answered here in this temporary website.

Microsoft Training to Corporate and Consumer Clients

During these past ten years, I delivered over 2,000 events to thousands of students in a full range of Microsoft Office and related applications, as well as a number of "soft skills" sessions.

I will continue to provide both Corporate and Consumer clients with tailored training and selected other technology services, which includes application development (primarily with databases), template creation, process analysis and improvement and other facets of technology usage to improve productivity.

I also maintain contact with many of my former colleagues in other parts of the country, who offer compatible skills sets in products such as SQL Server, SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies.

Advantages to You

My services will afford you advantages that you did not have under your prior arrangements with CompUSA or their competitors, not the least of which will be to secure training engagements without the high markup so often associated with large organizations.
Also, it makes sense that if you are working with the trainer directly, you get a more highly motivated instructor, not a contractor working for a third party.

You will still be able to secure professionally taught classes in nearly any class offered in the Microsoft application product line that you were able to get through CompUSA. The classes will continue to follow both standardized and customized. models.
I have a background in professional services (law firm administration) and project management, as well as the ten years of professional technology training experience with CompUSA, Northeastern University and other organizations.  All of the products I teach, I have used in my professional work, which helps, I think, to inform my teaching, which is focused on quick, practical application of these products to business needs.

Familiar Courseware Titles

I will teach with the same ElementK line of courseware titles, in addition to titles selected by you from other publishers that meet your training objectives.  I can also provide customized courseware development.

Convenient Delivery Locations

I will be able to provide this training both at your training site or in centrally located training facilities, starting in the Framingham, MA area; adding more locations over time.
Referring again to my former colleagues, I may even be able to satisfy your needs in the delivery of multi-site engagements.

Website and Other Contact Information

This site, which has been primarily a personal site, will temporarily hold information about my practice, pending formalization of the name, etc. At that time, a link to the new site will be placed here. My current contact information in the business card, above, is always good.

A last word of thanks is in order for all who have extended their best wishes (and new engagements) to me as I expand my practice.
