Your annual membership dues support many activities and programs in technology but more importantly your participation gives focus and direction to technology on Cape Cod, the Islands and adjoining areas in southeastern Massachusetts.
As an organization, we are a proactive advocate and research group for issues impacting the technology community and the use of technology, such as infrastructure, access to capital, development of human capital, and the role and perception of technology and technology workers in the region.
We offer a mix of member networking with key regional action-makers, interaction with numerous companies and organizations, and professional development programs, ranging from our monthly “First Friday” breakfasts, to quarterly evening programs, special technology events, special interest groups, to focused professional development sessions. We also support community outreach and educational activities.
Members and their employees if a company member are able to attend Council events at a discount and also receive advanced notification of activities to ensure priority access and attendance. The discounts on our acclaimed First Friday breakfasts pay off a membership with all other benefits and events available for added gains.
There is also an online job posting board for members, CCTC groups within social media websites for discussions and networking, and the ability to post as a company member your logo and describe your business while reaching other members as well as thousands of others through CCTC’s links with numerous other key websites and tech-oriented organizations.
There are also optional social events at the holidays and an annual business meeting and dinner with a key mover and shaker in the region as a speaker, most recently Dr. Susan Avery, the director of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI).
