Get down to the nitty-gritty of blogging during this hands-on workshop that follows Chris’ “Introduction to Blogging” during CCTC’s First Friday Breakfast on November 4. There he presented the case for blogging particularly as a vehicle for improving SEO (search engine optimization) and attracting customers to one’s business.  Now, roll up your sleeves and let Chris lead you through the steps you need to take to have a successful blog.

  • How to launch a business blog – when and what to write
  • How to promote your business blog via social media and other channels
  • How to engage in the blogosphere to extend your reach
  • What and how to measure the success of your blogging efforts

About the presenter: Christopher L. Wilson is the Non-profit Inbound Marketing Representative for HubSpot. Prior to joining HubSpot, Chris worked in Business Development and Sales at the online advertising network Chitika. In his first year there he built daily revenue from zero dollars per day to $3000+ per day on two respective projects. Chris said “I learned about hard work and the fundamentals of business from the bottom up in my family run bed and breakfast on Cape Cod, and I raced triathlons and cycled in Europe at an Elite level for 8 years until I was 23 years old.” Chris’ specialties are Internet Advertising Business Development, Live Presentation and Pitch, and Entrepreneurial Projects / Business Systems Start-up.
