David Willard CCTC STEM Scholarship

David Willard with CCTC President Bert Jackson

For decades, David Willard’s name has been synonymous with community service on Cape Cod. During his fifty years with the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, including over three decades as Director of Community Relations, he has served on countless nonprofit boards in the region, championing many causes, including affordable housing and economic development. The Cape Cod Technology Council was blessed to have David’s participation on our board for many years. He helped shape our organization, kept our vision focused on serving our community, and helped us liaise effectively with other regional nonprofits.

In honor of Dave’s retirement from Cape Cod Five and his service to ours and other organizations, the Board of Directors of the CCTC authorized the formation of the David Willard Cape Cod Technology Council STEM Scholarship Fund. The fund, being administered by the Cape Cod Foundation, will be awarded to Cape Cod high school seniors pursuing a technology curriculum at Cape Cod Community College. The CCTC has committed to an annual gift to the fund, and we encourage our members and followers to contribute generously.
