Drones & The Future of Automated (UAS) Unmanned Aerial Systems – March 2019 First Friday

March 1 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am

Discover how students are learning to write code to pilot drones today and into the future. Agriculture mapping, thermal imaging, tower inspection and much more are applications which save time and money for businesses and for the world. Creating flight plans for these UAVs has never been easier. Come see a demonstration on the tools schools are using to educate STEM students on Cape Cod.

With over 20 years experience in the education publishing industry on the East Coast, Peter Greer brings a unique set of skills to the PCS team. In 2014, Peter started flying drones and was the first to introduce drones to secondary schools and colleges looking for STEM project-based-learning programs. Peter serves as the STEM Program Specialist for New England, helping schools reach new heights with their curriculum with the Discover Drones program.

Peter lives in West Dennis with his wife, Christina who teaches 6th grade English. They recently moved their twin daughters into college in Boston.
