Navigating the Entrepreneurial Waters of Cape Cod

Join NeuEon founder and Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur in Residence Peter Karlson as he outlines the resources and programs available to local entrepreneurs and what you can do to support and nurture the entrepreneurial community on Cape Cod.

Peter is a serial entrepreneur with experience in bootstrapping, strategic investments and angel financing.  His firm specializes in providing guidance and advice to entrepreneurs and established organizations looking to use technologies more effectively.

As a former chief technology officer for two Massachusetts based technology services firms, Harrison & Troxell, Inc. and Inforonics BTS, Peter has gained diverse industry expertise in healthcare, non-profit, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and publishing.

He has been involved with developing Internet technologies since 1991 with the creation of the first Internet browser, the InterNavigator™.

Peter has a bachelor of science in computer science from Northeastern University. He speaks regularly at business and technology events, seminars and workshops.   In 2009, Peter received of a scholarship from the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce to attend the Entrepreneurship Development Program at MIT and currently serves as the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Cape Cod Chamber.   Peter is a past chairman of the board of directors for the Cape Cod Technology Council and remains on the board.  He also serves on the board of directors of the Cape and Islands Workforce Investment Board.  Peter is currently on the advisory board of the Southern New England Entrepreneurs Forum (SNEEF) and the Charlton College of Business at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
