Announcing the Dave Willard Cape Cod Technology Council STEM Scholarship Fund

The Cape Cod Foundation has recently been selected to administer the David Willard Cape Cod Technology Council (CCTC) STEM Scholarship Fund.

The fund, named after long-time CCTC Board Member David Willard, was established for high school seniors who plan to major in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at Cape Cod Community College. The fund will award $1,000 in scholarships this year.

“We want to encourage and enable students to pursue careers in these fields,” says Bert Jackson, CCTC Board President.  “We also want to recognize students who have been active in the community.  David Willard has enriched organizations across the Cape with his years of volunteerism, and we’d like to honor students who are community-minded like him.”

The CCTC, established in 1996, is a membership-based, events-oriented, nonprofit organization promoting technology and its understanding on Cape Cod, the Islands, and in Southeastern, MA.

The application process for this scholarship and other scholarships of The Cape Cod Foundation is entirely online at capecodfoundation.org. Applications must be submitted by midnight on April 1, 2018. Scholarship recipients will be notified in late spring.
