Cape Cod Technology Council Announces Scholarship Recipients

David Willard Cape Cod Technology Council (CCTC) STEM Scholarship Fund Recipients Awarded By Cape Cod Foundation.

JUNE 15, 2018 – The David Willard Cape Cod Technology Council STEM Scholarship Fund, administered by the Cape Cod Foundation, awarded two recent Cape Cod high school graduates pursuing a technology curriculum at Cape Cod Community College.
Graduates Caleb Sonnabend from Barnstable High School and Taylor Walsh from Nauset Regional High School were each awarded $500 during the Cape Cod Foundation Scholarship Reception held at The Sea View in Dennis Port on Thursday.
“David Willard has been a staunch supporter of the Tech Council, and a wonderful mentor to its directors and members,” says Bert Jackson, CCTC Chief Executive Officer. “We are delighted to present these STEM scholarship’s in David’s name to Caleb and Taylor, and wish them all the best as they grow in their fields of choice, perhaps to be mentors in their own right some day.”
The David Willard Cape Cod Technology Council STEM Scholarship Fund, named after long-time CCTC Board Member David Willard, was established in 2017 for high school seniors who plan to major in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at Cape Cod Community College.
